Today, RRT launchers are used in many fields including in Dog Training; Search and Rescue; and by Arborists in tree removal and tree surgery.
RRT canvas dummies are manufactured with a coated water and moisture-resistant fabric over foam. Their size and construction give the perfect reflection of a bird. They hold scent well, either by applying the scent manually or storing them in an air-tight bag with harvested feathers and wings.

The launcher combines the sound of a shot with the flight of the dummy to create a superior training exercise. The head is constructed of cast aluminum and the barrel is machined from high grade aluminum stock. This eliminates any concerns of rust or corrosion inhibiting the use of the launcher. The firing pin is machined from stainless steel and has a brass seat that helps prevent residue from the blank cartridge being blown back into the handle. This eliminates the need for cleaning of the firing pin and spring. The self closing thumb latch makes for simple one handed opening and closing. When using the combination of our launcher with our new aluminum insert dummies the handler will see dramatically reduced recoil and this fact has been tested to be the lowest of any other hand held launcher on the market.

The Side-Kick Add-on Set comes with a launcher and dummy. However, it does not come with an electronic release system. It is an add-on set for those who already have a Side-Kick Remote Launcher Complete Kit (see here) and would like to add-on another Side-Kick launcher. If this Side-Kick Add-on is located within very close proximity to your other Side-Kick Complete Kit so that it can be connected by the connecting harness, then you will not require a second electronic release system. If you are planning to use two Side-Kicks in different positions (e.g. 30 metres away), you will need a separae electronic release system.
