This beautiful drop point design has stood the test of time as a knife blade that finds its place in the "best of" categories of field dressing, skinning and boning of game. The tip is slightly ground, so as to round off the drop point design and give this 9.1" knife a distinct look and feel. The blade length is 4.7" and features a blood groove. The satin finished blade is made of 4mm 1.4116 German Cutlery steel and has a Rockwell hardness of 55-57. This series of knives is very versatile as there are three different sizes to choose from ranging from the Gentleman, a small everyday carry, the Bear, Whitetail and the largest Warden which is excellent for hunters. The Bear is avaialble in both Jacaranda Handle and Stag Antler Handle.
The Bear has an overall length of 6 1/2", a blade length of approx 2 3/4" and a total weight of 3.9 oz. This is an excellent knife for hunting or every day carry.
The hollow ground satin finished blades are made of 440A German steel with a thickness between 2.5 and 3mm!
Each knife also has a Rockwell hardness of 55-57 with the Rockwell mark stamped on the blade.
