Puma Knife: Puma Circa 1960's Original Medium Scout Knife with Saw Back Blade and Sambar Handle
Original Circa 1960's 'very lightly sharpened' Puma German medium Saw Back Scout Knife with genuine staghorn handle. Model is in excellent unused but lightly sharpened condition.
In brand new slip in 'tight' Black leather sheath.
Overall length is approx 23.5 cm (9 1/4"), with original Stainless steel. 13 cm (5 1/4" blade.
Brass finger guard. Handmade in Solingen with PUMA Germany stamped on blade.

In excellent original condition for age, unused but has been lightly sharpened.
No cracks or chips in the blade and the saw back is very sharp.
The Stag Handle is an unusual two piece type with a lighter side and a darker Orangy/Brown side. Both are finely figured and give real character to the knife.
No rust or pitting and the Pommel is in good unmarked condition. I would give the knife a rating of around 95-98% original condition.
Saw back is very sharo and unused.
Because of the age of the knife and it had no sheath, we are providing this Scout with a brand new Black solid leather slip in sheath with the knife fitting in quite tightly and looking very nice together.
This is an excellent example of the popular older and hard to find Scout Knife and at around 60 years old and with the character handle would be an excellent addition to any Puma collection
