Model 116375 in almost mint unused condition. In original leather sheath. Unused and unsharpened. In original box (box has some storage marks as seen in final image at base of box)
Overall blade length is 10 5/8", with original Stainless steel. 6" blade.
Full tang. Built-in finger guard. Lanyard hole. Handmade in Solingen, Germany.
IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL UNUSED, UNSHARPENED, ALMOST MINT CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL BROWN LEATHER GERMANY SHEATH WITH PUMA EMBLEM ON FRONT.
NO CRACKS OR CHIPS TO STAG HANDLES AND BLADE IS MIRROR FINISHED AND UNSHARPENED.
SHEATH IS AGAIN IN EXCELLENT UNUSED CONDITION WITH ALL STITCHING INTACT.
(There is a slight nick in the sheath near the bottom which is quite superficial but we have discounted the knife accordingly)
Excellent example of a 17 year old knife and something for the collector or user that is a few years older.
It is ageing nicely with some natural yellowing to the handle which is seen as a nice feature as these knives get older.
The PUMA White Hunter model was developed in 1956 in conjunction with the East African Professional Hunter’s Association to be the leading knife for big game hunting.
The Puma White Hunter, introduced in 1956, was in production for Eight years before the introduction of the Puma control number system. This number, a.k.a. Production Code or Date Code was introduced in the 4th Quarter of 1964 to assist PUMA with quality control and product improvement processes.
The White Hunter is the knife that made PUMA famous in the hunting knife market. It also earned them international recognition as a premier maker of quality production knives. This recognition promoted rapid growth in exports. One of there largest markets was the United States.
