LD110186 - Linder Classic Pocket Knife Model 1
Good quality German-made classic Linder pocket knife with two blades. Celluloid handle (imitation mother-of-pearl). Closed length 8 cm.
Handmade in Solingen Germany.
This knife still reflects the craftsmanship of Pliester, Reider and Ausmacher. Professional groups that are unfortunately less and less common in Solingen. The surface treatment of the blades, partly up to the polishing, was done by the Pliester. The manual assembly, especially of the multi-part knives, shows the skills of a Reider. After the Ausmacher had finished the entire surface of a knife, all the blades were sharpened by hand on the stone and then on the leather disc.

This little Linder Traveller II with Carved Stag Handle measures approximately 15cm (5.9") in overall length, with 7cm (2 3/4") 420 stainless steel blade. Blade thickness is approximately 3.8mm.

Old Vintage 3 Piece Carving Set.

Used but good condition 1930's Sheffield England 3 Piece Carvery Set in original box.
Box is in sound condition with a few wear marks and original lining and holds the Carving Knife, Meat Fork and Sharpening Steel.
Includes original Large Carving knife with genuine Stag Antler Handle and stamped on the blade is: Made in 'Westhill' STAINLESS STEEL HAND GROUND. The knife is 36.5cm long, has a Red Deer Stag Antler handle and Silver Nickel Cap.
The Fork says 'STAINLESS STEEL' and is approx: 26cm long with Red Deer Antler Handle and Silver Nickel Cap.
The Sharpening Steel is approx: 31.5cm long and is stamped 'SHARPEN STAINLESS'
It is used but a nice original set that is approx 90+ years old. It still has plenty of life left in it.
