Admired by hunters for its thinner 2.5mm thick and very durable blade this knife is great for skinning, meat preparation and other small camp tasks. The blade is made from high carbon rust resistant steel, which keeps a great edge. The blade is manually heat treated and hardened to 56-58 HRC. This is considered relatively mild compared to many other knives, but it is an optimum hardness for ease of sharpening. Knife has Caucasian walnut handle. Overall length when opened is 8 1/2" long, and 5" when closed.
